My pedalboard is almost done guys. Its been about a year in the process, throwing money into a pedal in between buying my Geddy, and my rig, along with school costs and just the average 16 year old life.
I currently have EHX BBM, Micro Qtron, Boss OC-2, and a super old DOD Distortion that is surprisingly funky on bass. I have a Dunlop 105Q on the way.
Mu question is, other than a tuner!, whats the last pedal I should get to fill up my board. I only have space for one more, but might be able to fit a Pitchblack on there when I get the cash.
I play mostly funk, and sometimes a tad of rock or classic rock.
Anything works, just throw it out there. I plan on upgrrading my filter, as I use it more than anything, but for now it works.
Ill post pics in here ASAP, once my 105Q gets here.

But that might not be for you. For the funk.
edit:
BOSS AW-3 Dynamic Wah... consider that |

A specific pedal would be great guys. And try to keep it under $100 new.. Im an unemployed 16 year old, remember!

It's my most needed effect, I feel naked without one.
Well, I use it for mellower passages, and clean musical solowork.
I never was a fan of the Carbon Copy myself. Really good pedal, just not my cup of tea.
That's why I asked you in the post-your-pedalboard thread if you didn't liked the Carbon Copy or delay in general.
I am very fond now of the Malekko 300 and 600 Brights I aquired recently.
I'm also thinking of putting my Line 6 DL-4 back to use. |

Phasers are frequently (as bass effects go) used in both rock and funk.
Another thought would be a dedicated overdrive pedal, but then again you have two dirt pedals already. |

I recommended the nano stone because it is compact, simple and sounds great on bass. it's really the same as the small stone. The ehx "clone" pedals are choruses, not phasers, and there may be better options for chorus (like boss and digitech, seriously). The nano Clone (unlike the nano stone) has power issues and is best avoided by all accounts. |

I prefer it to the nano small stone, but they both sound great on bass.
Yeah for under 100 bucks the Boss chorus's are your best bet. The CE-5 is a good bet, but I've had good luck using my cousins CH-1 as well.

"A" goes into my Crybaby Bass Wah, which I use in the country band. "B" goes into my Boss ODB-3 and BF-3 for the heavy metal band. I'm thinking about investing some cash in either the P.O.G. or the Sonic Maximizer. Dunno yet.

What is a Prunes and Custard? I never did know..
EDIT: I looked it up. Not my thing. I barely use my BBM and DOD as is. Im looking for things like filters, flangers, delays, etc.

octave>fuzz>distortion>envelope>Wah>(chorus/phaser)
You may want a bypass looper to have a bunch of things on at once and switch them off...
...they're not very expensive.
