I'm sure there are enough people who like obscure geek gear devices enough to keep him afloat, but the stuff just doesn't sound good IMO- not even in the dirty, glitchy, nasty sense of "good". |

Outside of Nine Inch Nails, it serves few practical purposes... even for a noise pedal, it's not impressive or even remotely pleasing or inspiring. Unless you're trying to inspire the birth of a headache.
And doesn't Reznor just use Metasonix stuff for those crazy noise buildups at the end of some NIN songs? The rest of his stuff seems more like the product of CV controllers, oscillators, synthesizers, lots of patch cables, knob twisting, circuit bending, etc., as opposed to the work of a few Metasonix pedals.
