Opinions on Effects

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi All,

I'm ready to replace some old effects, and I'm torn between multi-floor units or single stomp boxes.

The Multi Units so far on my list are :
Boss ME-50b or Digitech BP355

If I take the single route, i think a Boss Octaver, Flanger, and Synth

or possibly the MarkBass Super Synth

I'm overwhelmed at this point..
oh, and trying not to spend more than 300..

All Opinions Welcomed..
Thanks Much !

If you're considering the boss flanger, I highly recommend the dod fx72, which in my opinion has all the swoosh of the boss, but has a fatter sound. The boss octaver is a classic and is hard to beat. The markbass synth looks really cool, but I have no direct experience. I did a head to head with the boss synth and the behringer, and the behr actually won, believe it or not. It has a more stable oscillator and you can disable the filter sweep.
