Order of effects in my signal chain. Need advice.

For the last year or so, I've kept my signal chain between my bass and my amp fairly simple. This is what I've been running:

P-Bass--->Boss TU-2 tuner--->Proco Vintage Rat--->Tech 21 VT Bass--->GK 800RB.

That order of pedals in the chain seems to work just fine. However, I've recently decided to add in a few other pedals for more options. The other pedals I'm wanting to add are a green box EH Big Muff Pi, a Foxx Tone Machine Octave/fuzz clone, a Tronographic Rusty Box, and a Dunlop Crybaby wah. My question is, does it matter where I insert each of these into my signal chain? What should go where, and why? Or will I just need to experiment and see what works best? I assume having the VT on the end, since I basically think of it as my preamp (the 800RB's tone controls are all set flat) will remain the same. And I figure my tuner should stay at the beginning since I've heard that you want a clean signal from your bass going into a tuner to make tuning easier and quicker. It's just everything in between that I'm curious about. Any info at all would be appreciated. Thanks.
