Seriously, as soon as I heard the Timeline I pretty much knew i had to have it. And I've been enamored by the Pitchfactor for some time but have been, to be honest, kind of scared of it's possibilities.
I don't know when the Timeline will be here, but the Pitchfactor should be here this week. I'm pretty psyched! |

It takes a really long time to figure it out and I haven't done with mine yet And you can just smile looking at new stand-alone pitch-shifting pedals like Rainbow Machine or Polytope cause you have already found these sound in your Pitchfactor. |

The Timeline can do every kind of delay imaginable along with working as a lo-fi pedal (bitcrusher, am radio sounds, etc.)
Basically they are both awful and you'll hate them for sure. |

I loved it so much, I picked up a PitchFactor. I've had it for a couple of weeks but haven't had the time to dive into it.
I'm finding with these 'Factor pedals is you can't be afraid of the manuals. It really shortens the learning curve.

Basically they are both awful and you'll hate them for sure. | Thats kind of what I'm afraid of. I also really fell in love with the ambient type sounds you can create with the PF as well. Quote:

It really shortens the learning curve. | I went back and forth between the pitchfactor and modfactor and ultimately liked the demos of the PF better. You can bet that if, for some reason, I don't like the PF I will be looking to pick up the modfactor.
I purchased the PF through musicians friend so I have 45 days to figure out if I like it |

I have no idea how they got those sounds, but in the short time screwing around I came up with a killer fuzzy octave and some cool ambient stuff. I'm going to re-read the manual which will hopefully give me a better grasp on everything. So far it's really cool. Smaller than I thought as well. Sound is killer! |

I spend more time going through the presets trying to learn what they all do. I definitely like the delay on the pf. Kinda more than my ml2. I just wish it had a bank down switch!
Very cool pedal though.
