It's not a good price... maybe the regular price for a new one. And it's a Mutron III+, not the original, they just used a misleading description.

Depends on the condition, and who's buying. Anywhere from $250 to $900.

Yep, which is why it took a LOT of self-control for me not to snatch up markjazzbassist's vintage Mu-Tron with the LSounds mods and power chords.

I don't know who bought it, but they got a hell of a deal.

haha. actually the dude who bought it is a conoisseur of mutrons. he has another original (no mods) and the univox unitron (or whatever it's called) which is just a re-branded original mutron.

the dude's got me out filtered by a mile

Not self-control, really (for me), just lack of budget for that expensive a pedal. Kudos to those who have it, though, and to the guy who got it.

for me, a HAZ reissue for $150 fits the ticket. And frankly, though I have not A/B'd the HAZ to the original, it is a great sounding pedal. It may not sound exactly like the original, but it's a great sounding filter.
But you can pick them up new for $229, so used prices should reflect that...
