Any, all. If you want something more specific you'll have to post a link to a track that has the tone you want.

Dropping a rockk on concrete will give you a much different sound than if you dropped a rockk on metal. Different metals of different makeups, thickness, and malleability will also make a difference of the sound a rockk makes. Dropping a rockk on wood just doesn't sound good. It's kind of like rolling the volume and treble all the way back on your head, if you're using one...

Sorry...to be serious though, Bongo's is right.
Fuzz + anything is good...
Fuzz + octaves is textured...Fuzz + phaser is spacey...Fuzz + reverb is loud and sometimes big...the list goes on.........

this is the ONLY occasion i'd ever advise somebody to buy a cheap multi fx off ebay, to get an idea of which fx go well together, and what can be acheived. then as soon as you know what works for you, start looking at those sort of fx pedals. i'm really digging a chorus with my fuzz for a spaced out kinda feel. there are loads of soundclips knocking around on this forum, i mean, you may find some of the clips in the βΘИΞКЯŲŜĦÏИĞ® thread useful for a metal sound, if you can be bothered wading through all the gibberish
