Outboard Pre-amps...

I have been looking to buy either the Sadowsky 2 band outboard pre or the Aguilar 2 band outboard pre...

i owned the Aguilar before and really liked it for my jazz bass...but its been a while and i cant exactly remember every tone quality about it...

i played the Sadowsky the other day and loved it...

and i cant find an Aguilar pre in the area to demo or A/B...

i dont want the typical answers like..."if you loved the way the Sadowsky sounded"..blah blah blah...please if anyone has any real world use ( live/studio ) of these bass pre's please let me know your honest opinions and experiences!
