Just the other day i was considering taking all the paint off, giving the PT a brushed aluminum look. For some reason, some of the paint on my PT peeled off when I removed some velcro that had been attached to the underside. The aluminum looks nice beneath the paint, just curious how nice it would look if the whole thing was stripped.

I've thought of painting it a different color...

...but right now, I'm looking into "hot-rodding" it with blue LEDs.

I need a drill.

LEDs wont work. Use cold cathodes.

Cold cathodes would be intensely bright... but in a good way.

I've thought about that, too, but power is always a concern. Hmm... I need to look into how practical it would be for my current setup.

Now, for my goggles... I don't think cold cathodes are going to be a good idea. I'd like to be able to see.

Shiny metal does look nice.
But I wouldn't - any bright lights on the stage will bounce right off it onto your brain! But - I guess you could use some shades?
