Parachute Wah Question, Mk. Whatever I'm Up To

Sign in to disble this ad
For those who know anything about either the Parapedal or its reissue, the Parachute, I have a question. It claims to have the longest travel of all of the wahs out there, but just how long is it? I assume that it works by a really long rack (as in a rack-and-pinion) turning the pot (which has teeth, to accommodate the rack), since the Parachute has two pots. If not, how does it work?

I think the old chrome Morley wahs may actually have a larger range of travel, actually... but their massive size plays a role in that.

Other than that, I don't really know much about the physical design of the Parachute. I did look into getting one a while back, but I was leaning towards the Crybaby-styled version simply because of price and the fact that the sound was more important to me than the physical sweep.
