Parallel Looper + Expression Pedal

Sign in to disble this ad
If I set up a parallel looper (Wounded Paw, [sfx], LS-2, etc.) that has

Loop A : Clean
Loop B : Effected + Expression Pedal

will I be able to volume in the effects of loop B using the expression pedal?

So if I wanted to slowly blend distortion into a clean bass part would the above work? I have no practical experience with parallel loopers. I only know what I've been reading from the forums. Because the parallel looper splits the signal this seems like it should work. Am I wrong?

Your plan is truth, but you would want to use an in-line volume pedal as opposed to an expression pedal like the EV-5.

Excellent. So an Ernie Ball VP Jr 25k Active Volume Pedal or a Visual Sound Visual Volume Pedal would do the trick?
