Parametric EQ in effects loop or after the preamp?

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently got a Meyer CP-10 Parametric EQ for my rig. My question is, should it go withing the effects loop of my Eden Navigator preamp or after the preamp? Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Either after preamp or between instrument and input.

NOT in the effects loop since blending is not desired.

Generally speaking if it's rackmount it goes in the loop, pedals go before. Pedals want to see instrument level signals, rackmount processors want to see line level as they're usually designed for general audio use, not specifically for instruments. And not all amps have a blend on the effects loop.
