Passive ABY Pedal and Moog Voltage Question

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok, this one is for you tech minded guys.
I was Wondering If I could use a passive ABY Switch like the EXH Switchblade to switch between moog voltage sources.
I want to run the Ring Mod MF 102 LFO output in to my Low Pass Filter MF 101 frequency cutoff. This is the catch, I also want to switch to an expression pedal to control the cutoff filter from time to time. (Not at the same time though.) Will this work with a passive ABY pedal?

Not exactly sure how the Moog exp. pedal is wired, but keep in mind that an ABY pedal only switches one connection, the tip of the jack plug. If your exp. pedal uses the ring connection of the jack plug as well, this won't work.

Switching other voltage sources should work ok, but be prepared for potential strange behaviour. Not sure what, but it rings those kinds of alarm bells in my head that make me want to pre-warn you!
