Peavey Kosmos effect

Sign in to disble this ad
It seems that Peavey has replaced the onboard effect on their Tour 700 head with an octaver.

I never quite got anything good out of the Kosmos effect.

Has anybody ever been able to use it, either in its onboard or rack mounted version?

Isn't that an effect for tracking/mixing/andor mastering?

Well, they relabeled it, apparently. It seems that it is only an octaver, which is actually not a bad effect at all, but only when looking for that "big sound"

not any more than reverb or delay

The sound guy added a little kosmos to my bass work on my last band's cd and it added a bit of depth--i liked it
