Pedal Arrangement?

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok this is what I have.

Dunlop 105Q Bass Wah
Boss CEB-3 Bass Chorus
EH Nano Bassballs
ModTone Analog Delay
MXR Blue Box
BBE Sonic Maximizer Pedal
Aphex Punch Factory
MXR M-80 Bass DI w/ Dist.

What would be the best arrangement for this setup?

That's sorta up to you. There's no correct order or best arrangement -- it's depends on what sounds best to you.

Generically, I would go tuner >> pitch >> envelope filter >> comp >> fuzz/distortion >> wah >> OD >> modulation >> maximizer >> delay >> reverb >> DI. This obviously would have some snags on your board depending on how you use things (the dist/DI for instance) and order of dist, fuzz, envelope filter, wah really varies by person. Also, if I'm going for something different, I might put the chorus or delay before dirt.

See -- very subjective. Check out the 'post your pedalboard' threads for some inspiration.

As Bird said, it's mostly a matter of what sounds good to you. Here's another option.

BASS > Blue Box > Bassballs > Dunlop 105Q Bass Wah > Aphex Punch Factory > Boss CEB-3 Bass Chorus > ModTone Analog Delay > BBE Sonic Maximizer Pedal > MXR M-80 Bass DI w/ Dist.

I have a SansAmp PBDDI, which is similar to the MXR. I place mine right after the compressor and end the whole thing with my BBE. If want to go DI, then I'll place it last.

Tons of options, the man said.
