Pedal board advice

I have an SKB PS45. Great board, but I've developed two recent problems:
1. cords cords cords. The thing is a MESS! I have cords all over the place and I'm not sure how to set this thing up to clean up the clutter. Between patch cable and power cords, it's certainly not tidy. How do you all get your boards that I've seen in pictures to look so neat and tidy?

2. running out of room. I just bought a Line 6 DL4 and I'm now out of room on the board. I have things sort of spilling over out of the board on the side. I don't see a larger board with a similar "case" design out there. Anyone have recommendations?

If what you like about the SKB is the lipless fit of the hardshell over the pedalboard, check out NYC Pedalboards. They have a similar style, and come in a variety of sizes and configurations (plus they take custom orders).

As far as tidiness goes, most of the tidy boards are Pedaltrain boards (or boards using the pedaltrain design), which has slats that allow running the cables underneath for a clean face.

I had the PS45, and it is a great board. Loved all the ins and outs, the filtered power, and the size. But, like you, the mess of cables overwhelmed me. I had to break it down to 2 boards, but the bigger one is a PedalTrain. Paired with a Voodoo Labs PP+, it can't be beat for tidyness, and ease of use. You might consider doing something similar, (like 2 smaller boards), just to ease the pain.
