Pedal Board Effects Loop Pedal...Help...N00B content.

Ok. So for my dirty sound, I use a ton of pedals. For my clean though, I usually bypass all my pedals, and go into the amp. This reqiures me to step on...5 pedals, and then my channel footswitch for my amp. Surely there is a faster way! I then came across this...

But what i dont really need 2. I just need one loop, and then be able to click it on or off...And that seems expensive for what it actually does. Is there something like this but cheaper? Is there any way of having the same pedal in 2 loops? Or do I just need 2 of that pedal?

Did you think to make your own Bypass pedal? Probably the cheapest method. Have a look at:

I was going to suggest a 5 channel looper with a tuner out and a master bypass from Loopmaster. But then I read that Paul doesn't want to spend 80 bucks on the Radial. I'd get the Loopmaster single channel or if you're handy with a soldering iron Santucci; you could probably build one.

I think the Loopmaster's power is only to light the LED, meaning it would work without a battery. Don't quote me though. Also; Batteries are bad (for the environment and Santucci's man purse).

The LED is an indicator light. Wouldn't you like to know if the loop is engaged or not? I mean I don't care, save yourself the $5.

I can tell if its engaged by hearing distortion or clean sound.
