Pedal Board Suggestions?

Sign in to disble this ad
Only 5 pedals and looking for suggestions and advice for placement.

Currently-
1) Korg Pitchblack
2) VT Bass
3) Electric Mistress
4) Boss OC-2
5) Hardwire DL-8 (Used for looping only)

I'm thinking the VT might be backwards, from what I've been reading.
Would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks, and Happy Friday!

S.

Try this

BASS > Korg Pitchblack > Boss OC-2 > VT Bass > Electric Mistress > Hardwire DL-8 > AMP

Thanks.
That's about what I gathered from other threads.
I appreciate it.

Your welcome. Forgot to mention that more than a few guys around here put their OC-2 before the tuner, so that could be an option. I've tried my MXR BOD in that slot, didn't work me.

Octaver pedals such as the OC-2 need to go as close to the bass as possible to help with tracking. Avoid having any sound altering pedals in front of the octaver--tuners, clean boosts and buffers are fine.

Other than that, it is really up to personal taste. Switching the order of effects will impact the chain as a whole (Bassmike62's suggested order is how I would do it to).
