Just wanted to relay a story I had about Tim Creek at www.pedaldoctor.com so it doesn't happen to you.
A few months back, I wrote to see if he could repair an Ibanez AF-9 I had that was broken. He tells me sure he can, gives me an address to send it, and tells me to let him know when I send it so he can expect it. I do all that.
3 months goes by...nothing. I send him an email about it...no reply. I decided to email him again a couple days ago and see what's going on with my pedal. As of today I still haven't gotten a reply.
So one of three things have happened...he didn't get my pedal as planned, or he got it and lost it and doesn't want to tell me, or he's keeping it. Either way, I find the total lack of communication appalling, and though I'm not big on trashing people I do business with without giving them a chance to make good, how long am I supposed to wait for a simple reply?
So I don't know about you guys, but based on my experience, do business with www.pedaldoctor.com at your own risk.

"PedalDoctor FX Has Moved!!
Because we outgrew our present location,
PedalDoctor FX has moved to a new 1700sq
foot location! Soon we will be back to full
production with some new additions to our
line. Meanwhile we're still shipping our
present line as well as listing new, used and
consigned items for sale." |

Maybe it got packed away/lost during the shuffle? Not an excuse and they could at least email you back.
Edit: ahhh so its an old message. Yes that blows. At least email you back.

Also, have you called the number? |

By any chance was the package insured? Have delivery conformation so you know it actually arrived there?

EDIT: Sorry, Mr. Craig, it IS Creek. I shall change my original post.

And to be honest, it's not something I'm going to be brokenhearted to never see again. So I may track his number down, but I know he's getting his emails.

| | | | I had problems with the same guy a few years ago. Sent him an Ibanez DE7 to true bypass. Took forever, long waits for replies to emails, tons of excuses, finally got a non-functioning pedal. I posted about it on HCFX.
Some folks don't change. |

(615) 794-5875 They're just now getting everything geared up to open late this month and the email thing is still a bit glitchy. However, I know that if you call him you'll get an answer right away. Some of you may be confusing him with the FX Doctor, he's a flake and I've had numerous problems with him but Tim, aka "the Pedal Doctor" is a far cry different, call him and I'm sure he'll sort it out. He's probably the most honest one out there. |

Regardless of whether he's up and running or not, he should have had my pedal done months ago. He's got all my contact info. It's all still good. He should have gotten in touch with me long ago. That's crap business practices.
