Sign in to disble this ad
Hi. I'm basically a plug and play guy, and just starting to stray in these part of woods.
I play a 12'ver with 2 outputs, and a Chapman Stick that will be here in a week. So basically, what I'm askin' is there a pedal that has a dual mono in, and 2 mono out? Like those Basslab Stepabout (which is very expensive) or the new POD X3 (trying to stay away from something that'll be obsolete after the next reincarnation)?
help an effects noob!

However, what effects are you looking for in the first place?

| | Temp Banned (TOS Violation) | | | | | i don't know much about the chapman stick . but i think the 2outputs are 1 for low end strings and 2 for the treble strings?
i personally think you will need an effect that lends itself to the frequency of each output .
you said your interested in an overdrive , why not just get one for the high end and leave the lows clean |

It's just a small project box from The Source (Radio Shack) with one stereo 1/4" input and two mono 1/4" outputs.
The cable from the instrument is tip-ring-sleeve (stereo), with the tip being the bass side and the ring being the treble side. This plugs into the little box, and then I run two standard (mono) instrument cables from there to separate effects and amps.
The Stepabout is an entirely different beast, having two preamps and routing capability.
