Hello!
I ask for your help because I'd like to get a particular sound and I'm not sure about which effect it is... Auto-wah? Envelope filter?
It's the sound from a song by Magma called "Soleil d'Ork" (Udu Wudu). You can hear the song here: http://www.deezer.com/track/251739
There's a second bass with a kind of wah sound, which pedal could give me this sound?
Thanks for your help |

Pretty sure almost any envelope filter will do it, but I'll let somone else comment on that.

A DOD 440 is pretty nice for cheap, I used it for many years. |

What about buying used? My favorite at the moment is the Emma. Around $225 new (they used to be around $179) but can be found cheaper on ebay. Great sounding filter, very organic. |

If I see a DOD 440, I won't hesitate! |

Maybe someone could recommand me a model from the Electro Harmonix range? It's easier to find... |

Hydro, I wouldn't quite consider that prog rock. Sounds more like post-goth metal (maybe even some modern cabaret influence) or "indie" to me. |

"Indie", I've never understood this label I admit... Anyway, people tell me that it's a kind of prog rock so I just repeat what I heard
Beside that, thanks for your recommandations |
