I have a schecter elite 5 converted to passive, which has enhanced the sound so much...but I need a pedal just to get a bit more "growl"...without losing any bottom or mid range.....what do you recommend?

If so I may just be sad I sold mine. It played beautifully, but I could never dial the EQ right. |

Can you be a bit more specific about the tone you're looking to obtain?

I had my Fulltone BD in line last night but actually got more low-mid growl / presence by boosting ~250 hz by 3 dB via the rackmount pre.

A sansamp paradriver might work.
