Pedal modification?

I am clueless when it comes to the inner workings of effects pedals but how difficult would it be to have someone (who has experience with modding pedals) to add a gate control to a regular fuzz pedal? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It depends on the circuit, but for many common fuzzes, it's a relatively simple mod for someone who knows what they're doing.
