it's interesting that he uses an actual bass drum too. on the album it's so fat and even that it sounds like somebody is hittig a midi trigger with a sample of a bass and some light percussion mixed in.

I just bought their latest release (Riposte) off of Bancamp today. I wanted to support. These guys deserve it.
I will admit that their Etsy appeal is a little more hipster then I like,...but I'm open minded enough to not let that stop me from enjoying their incredible music. |

As far as Lightning Bolt goes they are now in my top ten bands to see no matter what list. I like em a lot! Thinking about maybe arranging a few tunes for a symposium next semester. |
