Did I, he is one of my favorite and to me the most musical bassists in the fusion genre. I learned that he is a really nice guy and and a fan of our music!!! Hope to meet him someday.

I sent Josh Holley a "fanboy heads up" based on the B:Assmaster addition.

I think that one of those might be one of the new bass compressors?

It's about time Flea started using compression considering how dynamic he plays. It's such a surprise that such an agressive player hasn't had a compressor on his board before now. I'm sure his signal would have been considerably compressed in the studio by Rick Rubin on their albums and on the desk out front. I must say i can notice a more 'in the pocket' sound that i've not heard on previous albums in the lastest RHCP effort. His sound is less in your face and more conventional - i like it (i think)....(it always takes a lil time for great albums to grow on me)...

Pretty sure that's what it is; 2 micro amps wouldn't make much sense, IMO. Although I thought he used a rack comp?

So despite the info in the MXR user manual Juan is still using the OC2 and not the MXR bass octave deluxe.

Cymbals Eat Guitars!

Geetar! The strings being right there was amusing after all the string breakage talk.

Bass!

Keys/freakouts!

Sorry for the blurriness.

Can anyone identify some stuff on the CEG bassist's board? I see the Bass Big Muff, Boss RV and DD, but the more boutique looking ones?

bottom right looks a BIT like a Team Awesome Fuzz Machine. the keyboard player for C to the E G is the builder/owner of SmallSound/BigSound.

and... i have a bit of a crush on his pedals. i want him to build me pants with self oscillating doom boxes. so they can be with me ALWAYS.
