I did see a pic of a Mini floating around TB with an M5 on it. Check it out in this Line6 M5 thread, pic is in post #4. It's a tight fit, but it works. The M9 is listed as the same depth, so it looks like it'd fit too. But wouldn't putting an M9 on there kind of defeat the purpose of having a Mini?
Just because, here's the latest incarnation of my Mini... In honor of Christmas and various holiday gigs, I swapped out my Darkglass B3k for my Christmas Cherry Sparkle Cream Pie (but only for the holidays, the B3k will definitely be going back on! ).

Currently I'm using this along with a Line 6 M13 stompbox modeller, but in the next 2 weeks or so I'll be picking up another PTmini and replacing the models with the real things.
Chain:
comp[m13] > octaver[m13] > LS2 looper
Loop 1 (P&C > BMP > synth)
Loop 2 (dry)
ph90 > mod/dly/rvb[m13]
This will change a lot. |

I swapped a couple pedals on and off for holiday gigs, but have settled into this current version and am REALLY happy with it. I've only had a couple brief tries with the Aggie, but I already know it's sticking around. Sounds awesome and is quite handy!

I already have a boss TU-2. It looks like the korg pitch black is narrower, but it looks like there's only about 2/10 of an inch in it. This is figured out from photos on the web, including protrusion of the jacks, because I don't know whether manufacturers specs include that or not.
Does that sound about right ? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth getting a new tuner for that tiny saving in space and thinking probably not ... I could stand a 1/10 overhang at each end of the board if it came to it I think.
So far as I can, I'm going for pedals in the 1590A format, but haven't heard of a tuner in that format, although there are some creative ideas here. Quote:

Right now I'm using a PT Jr, but I wouldn't mind downsizing to a mini. I've got 2 PP2+'s right now, so if possible I'd like to use of of them if I did.
I know these boards are pretty small and it probably wouldn't fit, but I'm trying to think outside the box. Can someone post a pic of the bottom of the board? That might help me visualize it a little better...
Thanks!

Andy | Andy, you might want to take a look at the Sonic Research tuner. Much smaller and many times more accurate than the TU-2. I do like the Pitch Black but I'm thinking that it is a bit wider than the Sonic Research tuner.

Unless you need the isolated 18 volt plug, for the amount of pedals that it can hold, a one spot works pretty good, and saves the space |

Thanks! | I put a Fuel Tank Jr. on the bottom of my mini after some modification. I don't see why you couldn't get the PP2+ to fit although it is significantly bigger than the Fuel Tank Jr.

I'd like to use what I have if possible, that's all. I know it would need to be modded...

I've always been curious about those Meatboxes... but I admit that I'm still not exactly sure what it does. The manual makes it sound like part octaver, part EQ?

| | | | Hey all, I would like to downsize my pedaltrain jr to a mini. I bought the jr with a gig bag when I first bought it and later on bought the hardcase for the jr to protect my pedals when I would travel. The only thing that holds me back is that I won't be able to fit my ernie ball jr volume pedal and that pedaltrain doesn't have a hard case for the mini. I come here to ask for advice or suggestions. I don't travel or gig frequently. I don't do any volume swells with the volume pedal just use it as main volume. You guys think I will miss my volume pedal? Should I make the change to the mini? I only have line 6 relay g50, korg pitchblack tuner, mxr envelope filter, aguilar tlc, boss ceb-3 (don't use it and will remove from chain), boss dd7 and volume pedal. Thanks and sorry for the long explanation. |
