I have always wanted a good phaser tone and bought a phase 100 and although it sounds pretty good it loses almost all the low end and sounds thin to me. What's the popular opinion from guys here that dig on a phaser that won't lose bottom? Great analog tone not too complicated. New EBS?
Did some searching didn't find specific answers..

My Psilocybe has a switch that allows for low end retention. Obviously some parts of the phase shift will highlight some areas of the frequency curve more than others, however...
I use the Pigtronix EP2.
Not too simple but not too complicated and has tons of booty until you hit the invert switch - then it does a cool "Talking" effect.
I used it on this song for Michael Tracy: https://soundcloud.com/michael-tracy/ever-old-ever-new

I also own the EP-2, and I think it loses a touch of low end on the LFO setting personally. YMMV of course.
The Moog 12-Stage is wall crumbling. Seriously good phaser with bass. Yum!

+1 on the Grand Orbiter. Been using one for several years & I'm still very happy. It retains all low end, has wet/dry mix & offers critical control of the phaser effect.
I'd get favourite phase and use outer blend pedal which allows mixing phase with dry sound. I also like MXR 100 very much and probably won't get anything else.
