Power issues w/ Pitchblack

Sign in to disble this ad
So I've got a Korg pitchblack that doesn't seem to be powering my daisy chain. Metering the output jack shows about 9v but the chain shows nothing (~ .6v). LS-2 works fine. Is it a faulty jack? Any easy remedies for this?

Tried another daisy chain, or individual Boss, or other wall wart?

Yeah, the my LS-2 powers that chain fine, and my Pitchblack doesn't power the other chain either. The jack meters ok which is why I think it's the contact between the barrel and the + leaf.

I was thinking of shimming it w/ some wire, but I'm not sure if that coulld have some bad consequences.
