Anybody know of a power strip with a removable cable? I've been looking for some, and can't find any. Does anyone make them? I'm wanting to put it in my pedal board, and I can't afford the power bricks, and the cable for the strip just takes up too much space. |

heres a link to the products. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/navig...+305362+201326

He wants the power strip to stay on his board, but wants to be able to remove the annoying lengthy cord. Smart idea for us effect lovers who have wall warts. I wish I could find one of these as well.
I did a quick search online and found nothing. It seems a removable power cable doesn't apply to most practical applications of a power strip and I definitely seems possible but would be very rare if there's something out there.
I suppose if you asked at a hardware store they might have an idea, but as you can see talkbass or common internet searches might not help.
Hopefully someone can chime in and help us out

But of course I would have selfishly made the short consumer aggrevating cord just to use it on my board and laugh at the customer's misfortune |

The kind that has a female and male end. Then you can just pull the cord out. I don't think it would be too difficult to modify

Hey, maybe I can send this idea off to some big company like belkin or kensington or something. |
