power supplies....

i did google, but it gave me both answers, so...

I want to get a daisy chain power supply and transformer so that I only have to use one plug for my pedals. Now are pedals usually ac or dc? I dont have my pedals with me for the next few days and have found some cheapies on ebay.
I know my digitechs run @ 300ma, but i was thinking of getting 1000 to 1500 ma to cope with the 5-6 pedals I will be running off the plug. Is this right? So far google has been crap for answers cos it seems to be fence sitting and i get both answers.
So would i get a 9 v 300ma or 9v 1500 ma? I know not this answer and I ask experiance and PLEASE: The correct answer instead of yes when its no and no when it is yes.

You'll want 9V 1500mA to run multiple pedals. Voltage you need to get right, current (mA) you need to get greater than or equal to your pedal requirements. Odds are your digitechs run at a much lower current than they advertise. I had a BSW that I could run with no problems on a 100mA circuit with a Micro Qtron on it.

Most pedals run at 9V center negative. Double check yours before hooking up, though.
