Power Supply for Akai Deep Impact

Sign in to disble this ad
So I'm looking to dust off my Deep Impact but unfortunately can't locate the odd power supply.. Tried emailing Akai but they couldn't come up with one and no longer make the pedal at all.. Anyone here know where I might find one?

You don't need one. It will work with any standard Boss style 9v power supply or off of a power supply like a Voodoo Labs or DC Brick.

Thanks man, I tried a radio shack jobber and the pedal started acting real odd, maybe a power supply made for other pedals will do better.. Thanks again

I just got no lucks on using 1spot for the DI..... thinking what power source suits for that instead of the original one.

I powered mine with either a VodooLabs PP2 or a GigRig PSU. Both are fine.
I think you have to make sure, the PSU is REALLY providing 9 Volts and not 8.6 or whatever.

Anyway, when I sold my DI, I forgot I still had the original PSU. Yesterday I re-discovered it.
So in case you are interested in the european (50hz) version (MP-9 EVB), feel free to drop me a line.
