Power supply woes

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently borrowed my friends old holy grail reveb pedal and the power supply had a meltdown. (It got really hot and stopped working). I feel obligated to replace it, but a question has come up. The old power supply says it puts out 500 milliAmps, but the new ones online put out 100 milliAmps. Would this conversion work. I really dont want to fry the pedal.

In case nobody here has the answer right away, what you really need to do is contact EHX customer service and ask them about the minimum current draw of the Grail.

Yeap. I have been looking at a Voodoo Lab Power 2 as of late. Some pedals don't always take all the mA that they say they need. From the info I have gathered I can say the volts is all that truly matters.

Still call EHX to make sure this would be safe.
