Powering a Blackstar HT-DistX

Sign in to disble this ad
I got a DistX pedal the other day from a local shop. It runs on 16v ac power, my question is: can i run it on 18v from the powersupply on my pedalboard or would it damage the unit?

Thanks!

Are you sure it's AC, not DC? That makes a massive difference.

I just Googled, and you're right, it's AC. So that said, I have never heard of a pedalboard with an 18V AC outlet. Only DC.

You were right about the outlets on the powersupply, i have no idea where i got the idea of an 18b ac power outlet. I guess i'm stuck with the Blackstar adapter. Thanks anyways!
