Powering a pedalboard?

So I was thinking about buying this :

to power my pedalboard as it gets great reviews but then I'm left with the problem of what to tune with. Because the best tuners come with a feature that leaves them open to powering other pedals and the ones that are cheaper and don't include this feature get worse reviews.

So should I shell out money on a Boss or a Korg tuner that comes with powering capability and then just buy some daisychains or should I look for a tuner that doesn't power the other pedals?

Tuners that power other pedals are a gimmick at best. Get any tuner you want. It doesn't matter if it 'powers other pedals' because all it really does is pass the power of your supply through it to another pedal. I've never owned a tuner that will power other pedals and I've never wanted for one.

I used to have a Boss TU-3 powering my pedals (as well as being my tuner!) but it's pretty limited in terms of the number of pedals it can power (7 according to Boss website)
With my collection of pedals constantly expanding I eventually sold the TU-3 in favour of a Diago Powerstation which can power up to 30 pedals:

It's relatively cheap and so far, completely reliable. great piece of kit IMHO leaving you to choose whatever tuner you desire.

My peterson has the same thing. The DC out jack is just a pass through. Totally a gimick and can cause a noise issue. It also makes you have to use thier cable.

Get the 1Spot. It's small, inexpensive, works any where in the world and can power hundreds of pedals noise free. This chain uses rightangle plugs on the outputs, which no one else does, and they use thicker guage wire so they will last longer.

i use a Snark tuner on my bass. $10 & clips on the headstock. no DC power required.
