Powering a POG with a PP2+

OK. I did my research and still am hitting a dead wall.

Here it says i can:

http://www.thegearpage.net/board/arc.../t-245911.html

And when I asked Voodoo Customer Service I got:

Hi, Chris:

Congratulations on your new purchase, and thank you for contacting us with your questions and feedback.

Yes, you will power the Line6 FM4 using the cable with the red barrel connector, in output five or six with the DIP switch set away from normal.

The POG requires more current than the Pedal Power 2 Plus can offer, so it must be powered using the Courtesy AC Outlet. The Frostwave Blue Ringer and Digitech Whammy 4 will also have to be powered from the Courtesy AC Outlet, since they both require AC power. Multiple devices can be powered from the Courtesy AC Outlet by use of a power strip, so long as you don't exceed 200 watts.

I'm happy to help if you have further questions. Have a great week!

Best Regards,
Ms. Harmony Ellis

If you're talking about the big POG, I'm not sure if there's anything you can do. There are currency doubler cables out there for the Fuel Tank power supply that allow you to combine the power of two outputs into one output, but you'd need a way to double the currency AND convert it to 18v power. I wouldn't try anything without contacting Voodoo Labs first (they're usually fast to reply). You'll probably just have to plug a power strip into the courtesy AC.

The choices:
1. Sell the POG, get a POG2 that's smaller and PP2+ friendly
2. Sell the PP2+, get a PP Versa, which is quite a bit larger but powers anything
3. Buy a $5 power strip

I think 3 would be the wisest choice. Yet somehow, number 1 would be far more appealing to me

I have a POG and it's powered using the AC outlet. I'd prefer it to be 9volt and low mA draw, but that's not how EHX likes to roll.

They're both digital pedals, so I doubt there's going to be any difference at all. The first report from TheGearPage from someone who has both models is that they sound exactly the same.

Problem is you can run the POG off the PP2, but you need to use 5 and 6 to achieve both 250mA and 18v. You're then left in the cold needing a PS for your FM4.

Damn.

Then Damn... again.

The POG is rated at 500mA- did you test the currency draw and find it only took in around 250mA or something?
