powering Pog2

Sign in to disble this ad
i recently purchased an ehx pog2 from the classifieds and when reading through the manual found they recommend using only the supplied power supply. since this is used i'm not sure if this is the original, on it it says "replacement for boss...". i also have a pedal board that says 9v 500ma class 2 power supply. is it ok to use this board? thanks!

I've used a few different power suppplies with my POG2, and am currently powering it from a Gator 8. As long as the supply puts out the power called for, there should be no problem.

i'm currently using my onboard SKB PS-45 9V power supply leads to power my POG2. i've had no problems and no noise whatsoever.

and i believe the 9V leads from my powered board is 100ma, but i could be wrong.

and it's usually better to under-power things than over-power them.
