Powering a Rat???

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently got a vintage reissue rat. It has that 1/8 inch tiny power input. I know I can have it modded for the boss style so that I dont have to use an additional power supply. I have the 'power-all' kit with the daisy chains connecting all 3 of my pedals. The power-all kit DOES include an adapter that goes from boss stlye jack>to>1/8 inch old rat style jack. This does power my rat. My question is do I have to worry about it frying the rat with this power? Im assuming this is ok because the rat takes 9v of power which is what the power all puts out. Anyone?

You'll be fine with the adaptor. It will probably leave a little power hum, but it'll work.
