Powering a SKB PS 25 pedalboard???

Sign in to disble this ad
I just picked up my first pedal board, a used SKB PS 25. It lacks the initial power supply and I'm not sure what it needs. I spent sometime on the internet and SKB does not list the specifics of the power supply. There is a big electronics store near me and I am sure they carry whatever power supply I need.

From looking around it sounds like you might want a different power supply depending on the types/number of pedals. I have quite a few. One post I read said that they thought the more amps implied the better it would do for more pedals. So should I just be looking for a 9 volt with a lot of amps? Thanks

The power supply that came with your board was 9 volts DC, 500 mA.

However, I have the same pedalboard and have been powering it using a Visual Sound 1-Spot for the past few years.

Hope this helps.
