powering a tone hammer

ok.... really stupid question coming from an engineer. but my mind is really not on to it today. stuck in a sticky situation with the lady and finances are running low too. selling off heaps of gear and scaling it down.


aguilar tone hammer.. would it work if i ge two battery clips and daisy chain it? im guessing no... but my head isnt working today.

Two nine volt batteries in series would put out 18 volts.

yup. it uses two clips in series. so if i clip two battery clips to a 9v adapter. would i get the same result?

No, it wouldn't work as they share a common ground. It would work if you used 2 separate 9v adaptors but that would be kinda pointless. What you need is a Diago 18v converter or Godlyke Power Pump. I use the Diago on one of my daisy chain tips to double up to 18v to power my Diamond Compressor.

Diago do a connector that is designed for daisy-chaining 18v pedals I can't remember what it's called exactly, I'll find a link for you.
