Practice tool question

hey, i am on the search for a practice tool that can be hooked up to a cd player and i could be in the mix and play along with the cd..is anyone out there that could give me some advise?

I think the Boss loopers make an excellent practice tool, and they all have an aux in for your CD/MP3/etc players so you can jam along with the CD; you can also just use the loopstations built in beats and loop over them if you'd like. You get some beats to play to and looping for practicing and storing idea's. From the cheapest/most basic to the most expensive, there are the RC-2, RC-20xl, and RC-50 respectively.

I use a vox headphone amp and it works great for me. Its around $40 and all you need is a head phone cable with two male ends.
