So as some of you know, I play guitar as well. I love this pedal for its boost and drive, but I decided to put it on my bass board for the gig Friday night.

O man, does this thing sound good! I really only played with the boost but I did play with the overdrive.

First, the boost, with the drive knob all the way down, is completely clean. Just as a test, I set it to unity gain and compaired tones. The boost was my exact tone, just louder. I did not turn the boost off the entire night.

The Distortion reminds me a bit of the bassdrive samples I have heard(note I have not owned this), which at original settings did loose a little low end, but I did not boost the EQ on the pedal. Plus, this has an inductor driven mid control, which aids to your distortion in the mix.

A little more later, but if you are looking for a booster, check this baby out.

On the boost side, none whatsoever.

With the overdrive and distortion, there is a little with out the eq touched, but I'm going to go play with the eq now.

WOW! WOW! I just tried the distortion channel at practice. This thing is great. With the bass all the way rolled off, you loose end, but that is expected( I believe it is a cut/boost). In the middle it sounds like what I've heard from the bassdrive. Very grunty, angry distortion. However, this thing shines when you go past the middle point. Boys and girls, not only are the lows not attenuated, they a boosted! The drive kicks butt! It is very agressive(made more so with the mid potentiometer). This is my favorite drive pedal right now!

If you get the chance, you gotta give this one a spin
