But, again, it would be easier to have a blender in a separate box, so that you could blend other pedals, too, if the option ever presented itself. |

I'd contact Guttermouth. He knows pretty much everything about RATs and their modding. |

Although I paid mine 160$, the regular price was 270$. Who would buy a professional distortion-dirty stomp box? People like us will rather pay 70$ and get a Russian Big Muff and probably wont notice the lack of quality it has.

I'm glad that you dig the pedal, but I guess you're the only person I know that does I really don't believe that it's a high quality product + the parts they use are probably Made In China (like most things) and only assembled is US + money aren't an issue IMO as many TBers pay much more for bass fuzz boxes. |

For the sake of it, check out the RAT FAQs about the product quality: http://ratdistortion.com/products/faq/ . I know its from the official website but it's very interesting. And I think all RAT pedals uses the same circuit, check out the specifications: http://ratdistortion.com/products/specifications/ . Rats have proved their point about their fuzz, I was at a Miles Davis museum last week and saw a RAT pedal (I think it was used by Marcus Miller wich also had an amazing Fodera bass there).
About the video, the playing of the juggernaut wasn't totally right, there's a vocal quality you can do with it and wasn't shown due to his way of fingering/picking. It's sorta, as I was watching this review, I was sure the Bass Fuzz.com intro was done with the juggernaut as it can get very similar. Also, the knobs turning were pretty random, either the "amount knob" was at full or 12 o'clock and the Tone was at Full, 12 o clock or middle. I personnaly love when the Tone knob is at: around 2 o'clock and I didn't see that here. I would like to see the sound of this pedal with some Bartolini's and an Ampeg Tone. Ill try recording something and link it to see what I'm talking about.
The footswitch is not supposed to 'pop' (mine doesn't) so it may be an issue with this particular pedal.
Cool review, sad rating, thanks for sharing!
