| Pro Tone Flying Eye?

Has anyone tried the Pro Tone Flying Eye envelope filter? I'm talking about the older version with Attack and Threshold controls, not the new Auto Wah version with Input (Sens), Response, Freq and Q knobs. I could only find one demo of it clean, and I liked it's tone, subtlety and simplicity. I have other filters to handle the Mu-Tron III stuff. I found just one review, which was at Harmony Central and it was very positive. If any of you have tried either version of the Flying Eye (especially the older, two-knob one), please share your thoughts. Is it anything like the vintage two-knob MXR Envelope Filter?

AFAIK, IIRC, IMO, JMO, IME, FWIW, YMMV, to each his own, it's all subjective, apples and oranges, etc., etc., etc.
