Problems with Jamup Pro XT

I love the bass amp apps for the iPhone, but with Jamup I try to play along with the songs in my MP3 player and I get lots of cutting in and out. The bass amps on Jamup sound great, I just get really frustrated when I get all this static when I am try to play. It doesn't happen with Amplitude or PocketGK can somebody give me some pointers on this to help this from not happening?

What interface are you using?
Have you closed all other apps?
What device are you using?

All apps are closed, and I am using the iRiff Port.

The Riffport is a headphone jack type interface, so you're getting some noise from that right from the start.

Now, there's ways to fix this sound that you're hearing. It has happened to me once before, and sometimes it's just a matter of reloading what you're trying to play along to.

Give that a try. It might help.

The iRiff Port plugs into the 30 pin connector at the bottom of the phone and was supposed to be way better than the iRig. I never had this kind of glitchiness from my iRig.

Yeah, as a 30-pin connection it should be better. I'm at a loss.

The only thing I can figure is that your input gain is set too high in the upper right corner. Make sure it doesn't go into the red. Use the slider to adjust.

Or maybe you've got a bad cable.
