Purchasing Boss Tremolo without trying it out??
 

Hey all! So this guy on Craigslist is selling a Boss Tremolo for fairly cheap. He said he has nothing for me to try it out on, but sent me a pic and it looks a little scratched up. I don't care how it looks honestly, but Boss are pretty tough and reliable, no? Take the chance or not?

Presumably this is a TR-2? I have one, and well, it's a Boss pedal. Built like a tank, does what it says it does. I like setting mine to a square pulse, putting it after my fuzz, and making sounds like a video game tank. :D Maybe not the most practical application in the world, but very amusing.

If you've got the cash, got the room and got an application in mind...why not?

Hey Millahh, yeah it's the TR2. Thanks for the feedback. Am just kinda nervous cause it looks a little beat up...like the guy tried to eat it or something haha

I used to have one of those, great pedal. Seems worth a shot, especially if he'll accept a return if it's not in working order.

check the switch, mine was a little finicky, sometimes it worked on and off and sometimes you had to hold it down to get it to work and you released it to get it to turn off
