So, I'll repost in condensed form: Vlad, nice board as always. Why the move from Xero Deluxe to the GR2? Thanks.

Weirdest PYPB title ever.

I dig it.

Your boards have changed quite a bit in the last year or so haven't they? Dig the mini - I think it does a nice job of giving the essentials from your big board.

This thread title is taking me all the way back to catechism which isn't necessarily a good thing. I was hoping for a 36-24-36 brick house reference for this one.

OK, i feel like i'm cheating slightly here as i just put this board up at the death of the last thread. But call it my way of protesting - this new thread should have been called the Broke Dick Peanut Gallery....

Here is a photo of my board from mid 2009. The essentials have remained the same. Since then the Groove Regulator has become a mainstay. Pitchblack has been upgraded to a Turbo Tuner. The spot beneath the GR has been swapped a few times for trying different aggressive fuzzes. The spot where the flanger is now changes the most often, but some kind of modulation usually ends up there.

Well... various and varied I suppose... Suffice it to say the ability to activate the envelope follower prior to an effects loop and then applying that effect after the effects loop appeals to me more than expression control... for now anyways.

+1 - It certainly better be named that. There's really no other choice.

Here's a pretty crappy shot of mine...

I'm getting in a Verellen Big Spider to interchange with the Sub-Lime and still trying to find a good, clean octave up/down replacement for the POG. Recently, I sold off a B3K cause my tube amps pretty much nailed every tone it had. I might check out the B7K if the price comes down a bit, I remember I really loved that thing when I tried it out.

Ah yes, that is an awesome feature of the GR2. I have a QTron+ that also has it's own loop, but unlike the GR2 I can't access those effects with the QTron+ off.

Still the exp pedal and the straight up LP filter functions of the Xero are very inviting to me. Thanks for the reply.
