The with the E2 tap tempo/loop switch isn't latching (+) and you can switch modes (tape/delay/loop) by hitting both switches (+) are the big differences. Oh, and you can set the loop volume to "fixed" (aka 100% recorded volume) or variable which pulls the volume from the Level pot. They are pretty similar for the most part.

...and the E2 is blue

Oh yep... I did think about getting one but decided on the Line 6 DL4 for the preset options.. and got a seperate looping station for ability to store loops.

The only thing that would make the DL4 better would be a footswitch to change to loop mode.

Headrush's seem cool for looping on the fly, and I've heard the delay is great to.

Im guessing that B3K ain't goin' nowhere... damn I want one. I do love my OCD though.
Do you use that as an overdrive or more distortion?? they can get quite heavy from the youtube clips I've seen.

I'll try get a shot up of my board , as it seems it'll be staying the way it is for atleast a month or 2.
Yeah, the tafm is kinda hard to part with. The Surprise does parallel blend much nicer than the tafm (phase issue I think), but the tafm has its own blend that works quite well, so...

And also yeah, the B3K is going no-where.

Jealous of that pitchblack.
Wouldn't mind seeing pics of your gibson's Skulletwhip. Are they in any of the Bass photo threads over in "Basses" ???
No photos there but here is a link to the Grabber... its a 77 I think. I just got the Epiphone Ripper so there isn't any pictures yet.

Untitled | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

also i think the headrush is the only thing i bought intentionally because of brian. I made the green muff because of Heliotropic by the band Failure: Heliotropic - YouTube

I love russian circles, but my band and my sounds more like Young Widows or Jesus Lizard with some shoe gaze thrown in. I do steal from Brian from time to time though!

Hi guys.
Attached is my pedalboard.
I use a compressor into a LS-2 with:
Loop A = ODB-3, Bass BM, Bass EQ, Bass Synth Wah
Loop B = (pending Prunes and custard), MT-2
All out of a VT bass.

Gotta post it up cos i wanna give credit to a relatively unrated pedal: BOSS MT-2 metal zone. I saw many reviews saying its bad for bass because of all the low end lost related to the pedal. However, this can be easily rectified by a simple clean blend (i use the boss LS-2). With that aside, the distortion sound is great. My setting on it is Bass - max, Treble - 3 o' clock, Mid Freq - min, Mid - 11 o' clock, Dist - 12 o' clock. It sounds the closest to the sound i was looking for i.e. animato sound.

Another interesting config i did with my pedals is the ODB into the BBM. With running at no clean/dry blend at all, it give me a pretty nice synthy sound. try it!

AWESOME. Really tidy to. Whats the reason for having all the dirt at the back?? Are you tapping the octave and delays more often? I only ask cuz I always have mine in front with delay.
I keep my pick holder on board to

**** IT, IM GETTING A POG2.

Heeeeyyyyy... I recognize that POG2! Lol

Nice job Insomniac, nice and tidy! I like it. I'm OCD about board organization. It's pretty much the only part of my life that's organized right now though... Lol

I mainly did it so more people can see the light plates in my distortion pedals when I kick them on

It does have some practical value though! I used to have all my dirts up front but reaching back to the second level, the taller knobs on my dirt pedals were pretty in the way. With my current setup, the knobs on the DL4 are recessed enough and the sliders on the POG2 are small enough where they don't get in the way. Plus, my dirts are just "set it and forget it" pedals. No real tweakage ever happens with them. The DL4 and POG2 are a different story. In ALWAYS monkeying with them.

Thanks! Haha yeah I get ridiculous with board organization. My post is actually a bit messier than normal because I don't have all the cables cleverly gorilla-taped down in the path of least visualization.
Normally my pedalboard is the most organized thing in my life too. Although because it's been fairly messy for awhile, I think it's the reason I just went on an apartment cleaning binge.

Cool man, love the simple variety of colour aswell.

Oh.. have you made a new preset now that you have that VP Jr.??? No more auto-swell I'm assuming. Been gasing for a VP, as I'd like to have 2 digital delay presets, one with a shorter, faster delay speed, and one with a longer fade out.

OCD about my board to, even though I find it a real hassle re-arranging the bloody thing every few weeks.

Yeah, now I have my main digital delay, a more analog version of that, and a freak-out one with all the settings maxed

nah, sweep is gone. I had to make room for my freak-out setting someday I'll make a pedalboard sounds video..

NOOOOOO! Sooner or later, you'll have to buy one! You're only delaying the inevitable...

What delays are you using/which one is your "freak-out" delay?

I use the regular, non modulated digital delay; then either the low res or analog delay (w/o modulation), I can't remember which, most likely the low res; and then I'm pretty sure my freak-out is the tube-echo maxed out. it could also be the analog or tape, but I'm fairly certain it's the tube echo. I have the tempo set so it has a nice, quick ramp-up effect when I turn it on and the mix set fairly low (although it's still a bit louder than my unaffected sound)

I know... Just not many Russian big muff's come up down here and a guy a know was getting rid of his and I couldn't resist.

Luckily I haven't touched my savings (for POG) .. Hopefully sell off one of my fuzz's and will be able to fund the Pog in the next month or so. I NEED octaves

I've been considering putting my MXR Carbon Copy up on top of my amp head (possibly in the FX loop) for freak-out noise purposes. Saves bending down and everyone will wonder what the hell I'm doing
