Since I apparently like to sneak in before the end of the last one, I'll do a quick repost.

I've worked long and hard to get this board as perfect as it is. I know I say that every time, but seriously there isn't a thing about this I would change. I'm 100% supremely happy with how this is all setup.

The chain goes...

Bass > Freqbox > Polytune > FX Doctor Modded Rat > Blackout Effectors custom Twosome > MF-104SD

The black expression pedal is spring loaded and is hooked up to the mix and freq on the Freqbox (I had mission add a second output on an EP-1) the Green expression is hooked up to the Time and Feedback on the Delay. The control over those two pedals alone is phenominal, I can make soundscapes and otherworldly tones for days with just those. I also had special thinner wood sides made for the Moogs so I could fit everything on my board.

The Rat has a "bass adjust" mod done to it, so it doesn't lose any low end. It also never is turned off during a Bongripper set, or in general (I switch to the neck pickup on my RD Artist for "clean" tones)

The piece de-la-resistance is my very special Twosome by blackout effectors. I had a stock one that I loved but had to keep sidways on my board and kept screwing up settings every time I tried to use it. So Kyle over at blackout made me this one with jacks and controls where I wouldn't be kicking them. Then he painted that amazing goat on it which made things even better. This thing is Doom in a pedal, I love it more than most things that I should.

Yeah so this is a long post, but after all the time and effort I put into this board, I feel it's almost warranted.

And for those of you who think "yeah right, it'll change it a week" that's why I have a couple of more bands/boards to change around...so this way it'll be at least a month.

I never done did made it onto the first page before!
It's speshell

This is the most stable my board has been for ages.
I am GAS free!

For the moment......

BTW, in case anyone asks, the IE Narwhal is just a one off prototype from a few yrs ago and won't be going into production. It's a nice fat/spatty fuzz. A lil different from the Oxide but has some similar elements.

My GAS free rig................for now......

LS-2>(loop A: MXR bass oct>IE Oxide>IE Xero. loop B: IE Narwhal>FC Barnacle.)>PS-6>EHX Freeze>TAFM>Line6 M9> amp.

It's a fun setup.
Gets some great synthy sounds with some nice dirty fuzzes available and all sorts of other combos from mild to wild.
All env filter needs covered with the Xero. Man, that's a "desert Island" pedal for me!
All modulation, delays and some other odd fx supplied by the M9. That really has replaced 1/2 doz pedals at minimum.

I don't mind seeing it again.

Those Mission pedals intrigue me, as does the Twosome.

The Organizer is really cool. So is the Expressionator by the way.

My goodies have changed a bit, well I just switched the order of my fuzz boxes to get another texture running the Brassmaster Clone into the Lo|Fat, oddly the other way about didn't work as well. I may also set up a side board with modulation since i have my favorite chorus and flanger again: Ibanez CS9 & FL9
Any way the signal chain is:
bass > [sfx]microThumpinator > Boss Ge7B > [sfx] AY2 >
Rocktron TruLoop > send > EHX NYC Bass Balls > GGG Brassmaster > Hjart Muller Lo|Fat > Akai UniBass > return
Loop B Zeibek Cross Drive > Ibanez CS9 > Ibanez FL9>
Zoom B2>> GK MB500>>

Awesome title. Apparently I've inadvertantly quoted it at work. Still need to watch it.

On topic my board, made from a bookcase.

Only change is the Sansamp BDDI in for the VT Bass, just trying it out at this stage. Not sure if it will be permanent or not.

The Pedaltrain double booster is reeeaallly handy for the Micro POG and tuner. the other 3 at the back are always on.

Oh yeah. If I didn't have them velcro'd on they would fall through. "Where'd my expression pedal go?"

I'm a fan of the analog delay. It's far from clean sounding, kind of 'cloudy' like a reverb. The modulation sounds 'ill' in a way, but I kind of like that. I hate the feedback knob sometimes though; it goes above unity so things get crazy with the wrong settings.

Your board is pretty classy too. That line6 is a delay unit, right? How does it work out for you? Also, microPOG for the win! Like the muff too.

Hmm, I see my board is small.

loop > OC-2 > Opto-Trem > OC-2 > Q-Tron > Memory Boy (with EV-5) > loop

Bad cell phone pic of my covers board. I've finally gotten a proper power supply and thrown it on a PT-Pro. Just finished soldering up all the cables last night. It looks so empty now I've down-sized. The tuner will be getting changed out in the next week or so. It's amazingly accurate, but the switch is finally starting to go.

bass -> Boss LS-2 -> (in loop A) Digitech XP-100 -> Chunk Octavius Squeezer -> MadeByMike IC Muff -> Wilson Freaker Wah (back to LS-2) -> Fender PT-100 -> Boss DD-20 -> Blackout Whetstone -> Behringer CC-300 -> DOD FX72 -> amp
