My main issue is that I usually play with an MusicMan Stingray and the active pick-ups dont really seem to make the pedal scream the way it should. When I plug in my Fender PJ, it gives the pedal a whole different life.
But for what its worth, its an excellent dirt pedal with some great OD and Fuzz tones.

Maybe Ben and I should do a group purchase. | Thinking of the same thing, doing a B3K and B7K combo. B7K as my pre always on OD, then the B3K before all other pedals as a flavoring dirt/distortion.

I definitely wouldn't use the P&C purely as a stand alone fuzz pedal - I'm growing to like it the more I gig it but while I find it is great used in conjunction with another fuzz (Pickle Pie or Micro Fuzz in my case), on it's own it seems to lack depth or something similar. Used with other pedals it adds a touch of synthiness to the sound which I quite like. |

The Mastotron does pretty much everything for me but just to be sure I have a custom FUZZROCIOUS Grey Stache (high gain and always-on gate to remove feedback) in the post.

My band does Tool (Whammy, flanger, chorus, fuzz), RATM (overdrive, delay), Alice in Chains (overdrive, flanger for Them Bones), Black Sabbath (overdrive/fuzz, wah), Incubus (all kinds of crap), etc. We also do a few dancey numbers, thus the synth. My band is pretty cool about my effects use, they never really give me any crap about it, since it really adds a lot to the song. Quote: |

| Well, my other board isn't really bigger, just different. It's also going to get overhauled next, now that I'm done with this one, but this is what it looked like last time it was together: | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
