I know it seems that way but its always on which helps and honestly it's not hard to turn on/off anything on my board and I have size 14 feet....that's why I use the Boss FV-500H as my expression pedal (actually works as two with my little TRS switcher).

I didn't think I could do it but I got 'em all on the PT-2 (minus the expression pedal).

Pigtronix EP-2 out; Tremolessence, Cubic, and Moog EP-2 in. Order changed too...I don't get so much woofing outta the filter now.

Bass->LS-2 (set to A<->B)->TU-2->Amp. The Supercollider in Loop A of the LS-2 for my Clean/Dirty. Then it's OC-2->WSOU->Shiva->Bass Envelope Filter->DL4 in Loop B

this setup has been proving to be pretty stable. I used the meat smoke preamp through a borrowed GK head during my gig friday while my meat smoke head was out of comission.

Latest iteration. Changed to a Blackbird pedal board and a Cioks AC10 (underneath). Also added a DHA VT1EQ due to the fact I never seem to get to use my own amp. This will be my crappy backline solution

I actually just tweaked my Rat Tail to adjust to an SVT2 that was backline on tour. It was purely done by ear on stage (after several beers) so I'll have a look tonight and let you know.

I use the RT to get a really dirty and grindy distortion tone. It sits after my Valvedrive in the chain. I often use the RT tone for entire songs but its not an always on sound for me. It's more of alternate extreme dirt channel to use.

I like the Shiva a lot. It's ruckus, too loud, too obnoxious, too unpredictable, and that's why I dig.

That is why I also have the Supercollider.

I will say that the Shiva on some settings aren't very suitable for bass. Good thing there are other settings.

I use a tonebutcher pocketpus right now for ridiculous noises that really only find their way into sets between songs or whatever. these types of pedals i find are best at home in the studio... but its on my board none the less. doesn't take up any room -
